Who are the people behind this website?

The people supporting GLUAS are local residents from different professional backgrounds who are involved in a host of activities, including engineers, members of the local business community, students, politicians, academics, health professionals, community and environmental activists as well as planning, transport and financial experts. We have come together on a voluntary basis to work towards transforming Galway into a model sustainable city that is accessible to all.

The GLUAS group is not affiliated with any particular political party or public organisation.

What next?

To make GLUAS happen we need your support! We believe it is time to take action and become involved in transforming Galway city and its environs into a sustainable, green, healthy and accessible place that benefits local people and visitors alike. We think it is time to invest into the quality of our built environment and the quality of life of all citizens of Galway city and county. GLUAS is a key aspect of this new vision for Galway.
